The Educational Media Company at Virginia Tech, Inc. (EMCVT) is the home of Virginia Tech’s award-winning student media groups. They provide information, entertainment, and service to the university community.
There are many opportunities for the students to become involved. Each media group is managed by a student Editor-in-Chief or General Manager and a student Business Manager. Students hold jobs and gain experience in journalism, writing, design, photography, broadcasting, business, and advertising.
