Marketing Coordinator
The marketing coordinator is responsible for planning the sales promotion and marketing plans. Plans include developing a media kit, sales promotion initiatives, special sections and conducting marketing and customer service surveys. This is a paid position and eligible for work study.

Summer Account Executive
Help local businesses and university organizations get their message out to the VT community through student media outlets as a consultative marketing specialist. Assess marketing possibilities, create marketing plans and, working with graphic designers, create high quality advertising campaigns for print, online, broadcast, and out of home media. Deliver proposals to clients in polished and professional presentations. Provide outstanding customer service and meet deadlines for paperwork and art. Must be outgoing, personable, have good follow-through and be able to communicate excellent ideas to clients. Previous advertising or sales experience a plus, but if you have the right attitude and work ethic, we will train you on all needed skills. Able to set a regular schedule that works around classes. Commission based pay that rewards hard work with high pay. This is a paid position and eligible for work study.

Summer Assistant Account Executive
Be a member of the inside sales and operational team for student media. Call business and university clients with publication information, help them complete paperwork and submit art. Other duties include accurate data entry; filing; faxing; taking and returning phone messages; making copies; delivering, sorting, and opening mail; and sending tearsheets and bills. Must be reliable, energetic, and a great team member. We will train on all other skills needed. This is a paid position and eligible for work study.

Summer Creative Services Staff
The creative services staff is responsible for creating well-designed advertisements for customers who request their ad to be created. They are also responsible for creating house advertisements if necessary. Applicants with availability on Tuesdays and Thursdays -- especially in the afternoons -- are particularly encouraged to apply. This is a paid position and eligible for work study.

Web Designer
Works closely with the design and production adviser and student programmers to design and implement revenue generating websites and/or new database-driven sites. Photoshop and either HTML or a client-side web editor like Dreamweaver required. Knowledge of Flash beneficial. This is a paid position and eligible for work study.

Web Developer
Works closely with the design and production adviser and student designers to implement necessary modifications and improvements to the College Media's revenue generating websites and/or new database-driven sites. Proficiency in PHP, SQL, and XHTML programming required. Unix, Access, or FileMaker a plus. This is a paid position and eligible for work study.
