Megan McCarthy is the Public Relations Director for Silhouette Magazine.  Part of her job is to make sure Virginia Tech students and Blacksburg community members know where they can express themselves through writing, photography, graphic design, painting, dance, and music.  Silhouette is an artistic oasis here at Virginia Tech.

How can one media division encompass so many different forms of expression?  The actual magazine consists of poetry, fiction, memoir, artwork, and photography.  Open Mic Nights held throughout the school year provide an outlet for readings, music, and dance.  Also, events such as Greeks vs. Geeks provide local musicians a chance to show off.
